COSI

While we were in Columbus over the weekend we spent the afternoon at COSI. What a great place! Emma and Grant enjoyed themselves and I know us adults had fun watching them too. Lots of cute moments!

Our girls!

I want a water playground in my backyard - Grant would be entertained for hours on end!

The BIG 3-0!

Another fabulous weekend thanks to my parents!! They hosted the four of us, my brother and his girlfriend, and my best friend from high school, Anna, and her family, and my good friend Jenn, from my KD days at BG, to celebrate my birthday. It was a packed house! It was so much fun to catch up with Anna and Jon and their daughter, Emma. They live in Hudson, OH so it's not often that we get to spend time together so it made the weekend and my birthday SO special (thanks Anna!!!). It sure made all of this "over the hill" stuff a little easier!

Grant loved the candles!

Great Weekend!

Like most weekends around our house it's been a busy one! Saturday, the ladies of our small group got together for a great shower to honor Lindsey at Serendipity in Carmel. Wow - the food and tea were phenomenal, but the company was even better. It felt great to get away for some time with the girls and catch up!

Later that night, Tim surprised me with a get together at Cadillac Ranch with about a dozen of our friends to celebrate my 30th a few days early. It's a crazy busy place!! It's always fun to be downtown and it was great to see our friends. Thanks to everyone who came out!
So this morning, Lilly and I are hanging out EARLY. I went to bed at 1am, she's been up since 4:05am!!!! I guess we didn't pick an ideal night to be out late...should've checked with Lilly to see what her plans were :) Sleep deprivation doesn't end when they start sleeping through the night - they just start waking up earlier to start their day!!! Good thing she's so stinkin' cute!

Mommy-to-be!

Love these girls!!!

We couldn't have a baby shower without cookies!!

Vertically Challenged Snowman

Yes, he's a little small...but we still had fun making him! He's a little covered up with the second snow that came through Monday night, but he's our special little greeter in the front yard. Playing in the snow with Grant makes me feel like a kid again - as adults we probably should do that more often. We even did snow angels!! Playfulness like a child is so refreshing!

A GREAT Season!

Well, we didn't come out with the big W on Sunday, but we are still SO proud of our Colts! Indianapolis is so lucky to have such a successful team to follow. And thank goodness their name is short enough to fit on my cookies :)

We had a great time celebrating the game with our neighbors, the Lands. Grant especially enjoyed Sarah's toys and doing laps around their house with a little play stroller. It's so interesting to watch how little boys and girls play so differently even at the same age with the same toy. What a blessing to be a parent! Off on a tangent...so back to the Colts - poor Tim was pacing the living room and just a nervous wreck during the second half. It was tough to watch them lose, but after seeing Drew Brees with his son celebrating their win who could be mad at the Saints???

The Cookie Fairy Strikes Again

Happy Valentine's Day! A little early, but I've been excited to spread a little sugary cheer and hopefully put a few smiles on faces. Next up - Superbowl cookies!!

Ready for delivery!

AFC Champions!

Tim and I had a great time last weekend at the game celebrating the Colts win. My favorite part: at the end of the game there were several Colts and Jets players/coaches kneeling in a circle in the middle of the field (pic below)...awesome! Can't wait to watch the big game this weekend at the Land's!!
