I have officially decided that I really, truly live for the weekends...especially to spend them with Tim and the kiddos. I went to a baby "sprinkle" for our sweet neighbor at Serendipity in Carmel - really, really good tea. Tim and I went out for Rob's 30th birthday downtown and it felt so great to get away for a few hours and be with our friends! Colts got a WIN on Sunday...off to a good start.
Work is work (although I am very thankful that I actually enjoy my job), but nothing is more important than my family. We all made it through the first week, but not without tears and some painful adjustments...mostly referring to me :) Lilly has finally figured out the bottle as of today. Let's keep our fingers crossed it stays that way! Geez, I hope I didn't just jinx myself. Wow, does that girl have her mind made up when she does not want to do something! I've tried to have a sense of humor in it all - you'll see from the "bottle arsenal" below. Grant is enjoying his new playmates and change of toy selection. Our childcare provider is such a blessing to our family!
